Taveuni Island was called the Fijian island of mystery, a volcanic eruption Outcrop 42 km long and only nine km long. Travelling to Taveuni Island

There are many reasons why people book their holidays in Taveuni Resort - Paradise Taveuni, one of them is the amazing options you have for scuba diving.
If you have never scuba dive before, oh Boy! you are missing one of the best pleasures in life. But before I explain all the points about learning to Dive in Taveuni, I want to talk a little about why Taveuni is such a fantastic place to dive.
Taveuni is a volcanic island, that has been for years a hidden treasure for scuba divers around the world, one of the main reasons is because diving in Taveuni is different from other places in Fiji. In Taveuni you don’t have “crowds” of people in a boat, and you don’t have the dive site with “100″ divers at some stage, like in many places in Fiji, Thailand, or even in Australia.
To coral in Taveuni is untouched, zero contamination, and with a rich and vibrand marine life. It is simply one of the most beautiful reefs you will ever seen.
One of the most amazing things that I found of diving in Taveuni is the fact that thanks to the topography of the sea bed, you can see all type of marine life. Taveuni sea bed manages to go well beyond 100 meters, so divers can actually enjoy the option of seeing on different levels of their dives (not at 100 meters obviously!) animals that enjoy ascending time after time, from deeper water levels.
Sharks… reef fishes … manta rays … dolphins and even whales.
Now if you have never dived before in Taveuni, then this is a brilliant place to do it, mainly because the team of Pro Dive Taveuni is a brilliant bunch! They are not only great PADI instructors that love their job, but they also have a huge range of resources to make your time in Taveuni simply fantastic.
Doing your open water course in Taveuni is a great wait to learn to dive and spoil yourself to one of the best diving locations in the world. But Warning: If you learn to dive in Taveuni, then the most sure thing, is that you will not see so much marine life in any other location in the world. So make the most.
One of the things that I like the most regarding scuba diving in Taveuni, is well, the idea of “diving in luxury” … and by luxury I mean, the luxury of time, of not being rushed, of having the luxury of relaxing and having all the time in the world, to relax, enjoy your time underwater and taking heaps of photos.
